The Postmaster@domainname.xxx account is an email account which is preconfigured by Aruba during the activation process of the domain name, if the chosen main service includes an Email service: it can’t be deleted, nor renamed, but it can however be used as a normal email account.

The Postmaster account has, by default, the same password used to manage the domain with which it is associated, however it is possible to change it. If you lose or forget the new password, it cannot be recovered, but you can request to restore the original password.

The main function of the Postmaster account is to allow access to the management of the domain email accounts.

By logging into the Webmail using the details of the Postmaster account, you will have access to the Email Account Management menu, with which you can create, edit, manage and delete the email accounts associated with the domain name, aliases, auto-responders and mailing lists.
